Our California Home

Recovery is less a destination and more a state of being which needs to be managed. Recognizing recovery can (and should) be fun is key to making recovery last.

The Forge Recovery Center made its home in California because there may be no better place in the US to get free from substance abuse and addiction. Southern California plays host to perhaps the largest recovery community in the US. From hundreds of daily 12-step groups to businesses catering to the sober community, local support for recovery in SoCal is incredibly strong.

There’s another benefit, too – the weather is mild and pleasant, ideal for engaging in physical outdoor activities. Our location in the heart of Southern California means we have easy access to the multiple attractions around us, including beaches, ski resorts, amusement parks, and more.
